BRITISH COLUMBIA - Vancouver. THE SECOND ANNUAL BOAT RACE BREAKFAST (BRB). 8:30AM – NEW OXFORD PUB, 1144 Homer St.  The 2013 Boat Race starts at 4:30 PM GMT, 8:30 AM in Vancouver! "To have a chat while the rowing bores of the Beeb drone on about beefy Germans, Americans and Dutchmen cunningly weighed in stones rather than their native pounds or kilograms, as well as the odd Brit, be there by 8:00 A.M."

VANCOUVER, B.C., DINNER - 83rd Annual – 6:30 P.M. AT THE GREAT HALL OF GREEN COLLEGE, UBC. Boat Race video. The person toasting the Universities this year will be Christopher Gaze, Artistic Director of Bard on the Beach, the “Modern Major General” in the Vancouver Opera’s recent production of the Pirates of Penzance and a well-known raconteur. There are high hopes for a most entertaining Toast.
